The 5th and final season of Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda left many questions open. For the majority of the fans, the ending was irrational and contradicting with the previous seasons of the show, especially those run by Robert Hewitt Wolfe. When the final episodes "The heart of the journey" aired in Germany on August '07, many fans were dissatisfied with the ending.

So, DoktorAxt from the German Sci Fi forums started a fanfiction project which aims at introducing a proper ending for Andromeda. He was soon supported by Darth.Hunter, another dissapointed member of the same forum. Together, they invented a storyline for two additional season of Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda. New episodes are scheduled for each wednesday, just the same time that Andromeda always aired in Germany.
